If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide, or see sparks, evacuate immediately and call 911. Do not attempt to operate your system if you suspect a safety issue.
Turn off your Heat Pump at the thermostat and wait 5 minutes for the system to reset
Check the Heat Pump control board for flashing error codes and document them
Verify the Heat Pump air filter is clean and airflow is not restricted
Check all Heat Pump safety switches including pressure and limit switches
