Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using EmergencyHeatPump.ca and our emergency heat pump repair services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

Emergency Services

We provide 24/7 emergency heat pump repair services across Metro Vancouver. While we strive to respond as quickly as possible (typically 1-2 hours), response times may vary based on weather conditions, traffic, and technician availability. Emergency service does not guarantee same-day repair completion for all issues.

Service Fees and Payments

  • Emergency service call fees apply to all after-hours visits
  • We provide upfront pricing before beginning repair work
  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged
  • We accept cash, credit cards, and e-transfers
  • Diagnostic fees are charged if you decline recommended repairs

Warranties

All repair work is covered by our workmanship warranty for 90 days from the date of service. Parts are covered by manufacturer warranties. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, neglect, or modifications made by others.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a scheduled service appointment, please provide at least 2 hours notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Liability

We carry full liability insurance for our work. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, manufacturer defects, or damage caused by factors outside our control.

Service Area

Our primary service area covers Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area. We reserve the right to decline service requests outside our coverage area.

Safety and Access

For the safety of our technicians and your property, you agree to provide safe access to your heat pump equipment, disclose any known hazards, and ensure that pets are secured during service visits.

Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any service concerns promptly. If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 7 days. Disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration in British Columbia.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
