Avoid restarting your Heat Pump immediately after power is restored
Wait at least 5 minutes before restarting your Heat Pump to prevent system damage
Reset your Heat Pump thermostat to your preferred temperature after restart
Check Heat Pump operation through one full cycle after power returns
